Terms for paid services
Last updated 2 November 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you buy a paid service from Built With Skills. The services are listed in section 2.
They sit alongside our terms of service, which cover the website and the community, and our earnings disclaimer. If these terms and the terms of service differ on a paid service, these terms apply.
You are buying from Heidi Hein, a self-employed individual (autónoma) registered in Spain, trading as Built With Skills (“we”, “us”). The work is done by Heidi Hein and Jethro Pickering.
- Tax identification number (NIF): ESY9226768X
- Business address: Calle Montano, 4, 29012 Málaga, Spain
- Email: info@builtwithskills.com
“You” means the person buying. You are a “consumer” if you buy for purposes outside your trade, business or profession, and a “business customer” if you do not.
2. The services, at a glance
Each service has its own page that says exactly what you get, what you do not, what we need from you and when we deliver. That page forms part of your contract. Read it before you pay.
| Service | Price | We start | It is delivered |
|---|---|---|---|
| Done-for-you website | €1,479 one-off, incl. VAT | when we begin design work, after you have paid. The application and the requirements call before that are free and are not part of the contract. | when the site is live on your domain and handed over to you. |
| Website audit | €247 one-off, incl. VAT | when we begin reviewing your site. We tell you by email when we do. | when we email you the written assessment. |
| One-hour call | €150 per hour, incl. VAT | when the call begins. Reading your topic beforehand does not count as starting. | when the call has taken place. If you bought more than one hour, each hour is delivered when it takes place. |
| Press release | €30 one-off, incl. VAT | when we begin reviewing your draft. | when the release you approved has been sent to ABNewswire for distribution. |
| Pro | €48.50 per month or €485 per year, incl. VAT | when you join and your payment goes through. | for as long as you are a member, until you cancel. |
All prices are in euros and include Spanish VAT. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout.
The one-hour call is charged per hour and you choose the number of hours at checkout. Pro renews automatically until you cancel; its rules are in section 6.
If you change your mind (consumers), in short:
- Before we start: you get everything back.
- After we start, within fourteen days of buying: you pay for the part already done and we refund the rest.
- Once the service has been delivered: you can no longer withdraw, because you asked us to start straight away. You still have your rights if what we delivered is not what we described (section 7).
The full rules are in section 5.
3. How an order becomes a contract
For the website audit, the one-hour call and the press release, the steps are these:
- You read the service page and its scope page.
- You click Buy now and go to a checkout run by Stripe. You can check and correct your details and the number of hours there, and nothing is charged until you press Pay.
- You tick the box to accept these terms and to ask us to start straight away (section 5), then pay. Paying is your offer to buy.
- Stripe emails you a receipt at once. We then confirm your order by email within one working day, and the contract is made when we do. Our confirmation repeats what you bought and how to withdraw.
If we cannot take your order (for example because the service is not a fit for you, or we cannot deliver what you ask for), we tell you and refund you in full.
The done-for-you website works differently. You apply, we reply, and we hold a requirements call.
We then send you a written project scope. We take no payment until you have agreed to it, and the contract is made when you pay after agreeing.
Pro is bought on Circle’s checkout inside the community. The contract is made when your payment goes through, and Circle emails you a receipt.
Contracts are made in English. We keep a copy of your order, the terms that applied to it and our confirmation, and you can ask us for a copy at any time.
4. Payment and invoices
Card payments are processed by Stripe, which handles your card details. We never see or store your full card number.
The charge appears on your statement under our name. Stripe emails you a receipt, and an invoice is available on request.
Spanish or EU business? Contact us for an invoice instead.Give us your business name, address and tax number before you pay, because we cannot change an invoice afterwards.
5. Your right to withdraw (consumers)
If you are a consumer you may withdraw from the contract within fourteen (14) calendar days from the day the contract is made, without giving a reason, under Articles 102 to 108 of the Spanish consumer protection law (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007).
How to withdraw. The quickest way is our withdrawal page: give your name, your order and your email, press “Confirm withdrawal”, and we email you a receipt with the date and time.
You can also send us a clear statement by email to info@builtwithskills.com, or use the model form below. You have met the deadline if you send your withdrawal before the fourteen days end.
Starting straight away. At checkout we ask you to tick a box asking us to start within the fourteen days, and confirming that you understand the consequences below. We confirm that request in the email we send when we accept your order.
- If you withdraw before we have started (section 2 says when that is for each service), we refund everything.
- If you withdraw after we have started, you pay for what we have already done, in proportion to the whole service. We refund the rest.
- Once we have fully delivered the service, you can no longer withdraw (Article 103(a) of that law). For example, once a call has taken place, once we have sent you the audit assessment, or once your press release has been sent out.
We refund within fourteen days of receiving your withdrawal, to the card you paid with, at no cost to you.
If you would rather we did not start within the fourteen days, email us before you pay and we will send you a payment link without that request. Nothing is then done until the period has passed.
Model withdrawal form
Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract. You do not have to use it.
- To: Heidi Hein, a self-employed individual (autónoma) registered in Spain, trading as Built With Skills, Calle Montano, 4, 29012 Málaga, Spain, info@builtwithskills.com
- I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the provision of the following service:
- Ordered on:
- Name of consumer:
- Address of consumer:
- Signature of consumer (only if this form is sent on paper):
- Date:
Business customers have no statutory right of withdrawal. If you cancel before we have started, we will refund you unless we have already incurred costs for you. If we do not deliver what we described, we will put it right or refund the part we did not deliver.
6. Pro
Pro is our membership, and the only way into the community. It is in early access while we build it. The normal price is €97 per month or €970 per year. During early access the code BWSEARLYACCESS, entered at checkout, takes 50% off, which gives the early-access prices: €48.50 per month or €485 per year. All prices include VAT. It includes:
- Website in a Week: from a blank screen to a live website on your own domain
- The Complete Self-Built Website Blueprint: the full build we walk our own sites through, including AI skills, writing and scaling content, and SEO
- The WordPress Migration Playbook: how to move a WordPress site with as little disruption as possible
- A 12-week accountability plan to keep you on track
- Discussions and chat rooms only for Pro members, where we share the tactics and tips we are using
- The challenge board, so you ship instead of watching
- Opportunities, leads and work, shared in the group when we have them
- Help from us when you ask for it
- The tools, templates and skills we have built for our own sites
Some of this, including the courses, is still being written, and is added as each part is finished. Opportunities and leads are shared when we have them; we do not promise any number of them, or any work or income from them. Our earnings disclaimer applies.
- Renewal. Pro renews automatically: monthly membership every month, yearly membership every year, on the date you joined, charged to the card you joined with, until you cancel.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from your Circle account settings, or by emailing us. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. Apart from the withdrawal right below, we do not refund part of a period.
- Withdrawal. As a consumer you can withdraw within fourteen days of your first payment. If you asked at checkout for access straight away, you pay for the days you have had and we refund the rest; otherwise we refund it in full. The fourteen days apply to your first payment, not to renewals.
- Price changes. When early access ends, or if we change the price later, we email you at least 30 days before the renewal the new price applies to. Members on the early-access price move to the normal price, or the new price, at that renewal. If you do not want to pay it, cancel before then.
- If Pro changes or closes. If we take away a main part of Pro, or close it, we tell you in advance and you can have the unused part of the period you have paid for refunded.
A year of Pro comes with the done-for-you website. That year does not renew on its own and we do not take a card for it, as the done-for-you website terms explain.
7. If something goes wrong
If the service we deliver does not match what is described on its page, tell us by email and give us the chance to put it right. If we cannot, or you would rather not wait, you can ask for a price reduction or, for a serious failure, to end the contract and be refunded for the part not delivered. As a consumer you also keep your legal rights if a service does not conform to the contract, and nothing here takes them away.
Please talk to us before you contact your bank. A card chargeback takes weeks, and we can almost always settle a problem faster ourselves.
8. What you agree to
- The information you give us is accurate, and you have the right to give it to us.
- You have the right to have us work on the site, account or content you send us.
- You will not use our work for anything unlawful, and you will not pass our written work off as your own to people who would pay for it.
- You will give us the things we ask for in good time. If you do not, the timing moves.
We never need your passwords. Do not send them. If we need access to a site or account, we will ask you to add us as a user, and you can remove us when we are done.
9. Other companies we use
To deliver some services we rely on other companies: Stripe for payment, Circle for the community and Pro (including Pro payments), ABNewswire for press release distribution, and tools such as Google Search Console, a video-call platform and your own host and domain registrar.
They run their own services under their own terms. We choose them with care, but we do not control them and are not responsible for what they do on their own systems. This does not limit your legal rights.
10. Results are not guaranteed
We give our honest skill and attention, but we do not promise any particular ranking, traffic, income or sales from any service. Search engines, markets and your own actions decide those. Our earnings disclaimer applies to everything we sell.
11. Our work and your rights to it
The written work we produce for you (an audit assessment, a project scope, a website) is made for your own use in your own business. Who owns what in a done-for-you website is set out on that service’s page. Our own templates, tools, methods and teaching material stay ours.
We will not publish your name, your website or your results as an example of our work without asking you first.
12. Your data and confidentiality
We use what you tell us to deliver the service, as our privacy policy explains. We keep what you tell us about your business confidential and use
it for nothing else. This does not apply to anything you have made public, or anything we have to disclose by law. A press release is the exception: it is sent to be published, as its page explains.
13. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability we cannot lawfully limit, including for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury, or your legal rights as a consumer.
Subject to that, we are liable for loss that was a foreseeable result of our failing to take reasonable care in delivering the service. Our total liability to a business customer for any one service is limited to the price paid for it, and we are not liable to a business customer for lost profit, lost sales, lost data or other indirect loss. We are not liable for a failure caused by something outside our reasonable control, including a failure of Stripe, a news site, a search engine, the internet or a power supply.
14. If we cannot do the work
If illness or another event outside our control stops us from delivering on time, we will tell you as soon as we can and agree a new date with you. If you do not want to wait, you can cancel and we will refund what we have not delivered.
15. Complaints
If you are unhappy, write to info@builtwithskills.com and tell us what went wrong and what you would like us to do. We reply within a working day and aim to settle it with you directly. Official complaint forms (hojas de reclamaciones) are available on request.
We have not joined a consumer arbitration or alternative dispute resolution scheme. You can still complain to your local consumer authority. These terms are governed by Spanish law, and section 12 of our terms of service sets out which courts apply, including the protections you keep as a consumer where you live.
16. Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to you is the one on this page when you order. A later change does not alter a contract you have already made.
