Affiliate disclosure

1. Purpose of this disclosure

This disclosure is made in accordance with the duty of transparency in commercial communications established by Law 3/1991, of 10 January, on Unfair Competition, and Law 34/1988, of 11 November, General Advertising Law, and identifies the affiliate relationships maintained by Mr. Jethro Pickering and Ms. Heidi Hein, trading as Built With Skills ("we" or "us"), in connection with the website located at https://www.builtwithskills.com (the "Website") and the community operated on the Circle platform (the "Community").

2. Nature of an affiliate link

Certain links published on the Website or within the Community are affiliate links. Where you follow such a link and subsequently purchase the product or service in question, we may receive a commission from the merchant, at no additional cost to you. The price you pay is unaffected by whether the link through which you arrived was an affiliate link.

3. Identification of affiliate content

We do not disguise an affiliate link as editorial content, nor do we use misleading formatting to obscure its commercial nature. Where a recommendation is made in exchange for consideration, that fact is disclosed at the point the recommendation is made, in addition to this general disclosure.

4. Basis for recommending a tool or service

We only link to tools, platforms, or services that we use ourselves, or that we would recommend independently of any commission arrangement. The existence of a commission does not determine whether a tool is recommended; a tool that ceases to meet that standard is removed from our recommendations irrespective of any commission it generates.

Where, in the course of a coaching or done-for-you engagement, we recommend a specific tool to you individually, the same standard applies: the recommendation is made on its merits, and any commission we may receive in connection with it will be disclosed to you at that time.

5. Relationship to our privacy policy

Following an affiliate link discloses to the merchant that you arrived from the Website, by means of the merchant's own tracking technology. That processing is carried out by the merchant as an independent controller, under its own privacy policy; further detail is set out in our privacy policy.

6. Amendments

We may amend this disclosure as our affiliate relationships change. Any amendment will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
