Website audit: what you get

1. The service

A review of a live website for technical SEO, site structure and search strategy, delivered as a written assessment with a fix list. It is a review, not a repair: we do not change your site.

Price: €247 one-off, incl. VAT. Prices include Spanish VAT.

2. What you get

• Technical SEO check: crawling, indexing, sitemap, robots.txt, page titles, duplicate pages, speed and mobile
• Site structure review: how your pages are organised and linked
• Strategy review: whether the site targets the searches your customers make
• A written assessment with the serious problems marked
• Your fix list, in the order we would do it

3. What is not included

• The fixes themselves (book a call if you want help with them)
• Guaranteed rankings or traffic

Anything not listed under “What you get” is not part of the service. If you need it, ask us and we will tell you whether we can do it and what it would cost.

4. What we do

1. We go through your site by hand, using its public pages and the free and paid tools we normally use to check a site.
2. We check how Google can crawl and index it: sitemap, robots.txt, page titles, duplicate pages, speed and mobile use.
3. We look at how your pages are organised and linked, and whether the site targets the searches your customers make.
4. We write up what we found, mark the serious problems, and list the fixes in the order we would do them.

5. What we need from you

• The web address of the site to be reviewed, and what you want the site to do.
• Confirmation that the site is yours, or that you are authorised to have it reviewed.
• Optionally, read-only access to Google Search Console or your analytics, if you want us to use that data. We never need your passwords and you should not send them.

If you do not give us what we need, we may not be able to deliver the service as described, and the timing moves with it.

6. Delivery

• We send your assessment within 1 to 7 working days of payment.
• The assessment is sent to you by email as a written document.
• On a site with many pages we review the pages that matter most and a sample of the rest, and the assessment says so.

7. If we cannot review your site

If your site is not live, blocks search engines from the whole site, or sits behind a login, we may not be able to review it. We tell you before we start and refund you in full.

8. What the audit does not cover

It is not a security audit, a legal compliance review (data protection, cookies, accessibility or consumer law) or a penetration test, and it should not be relied on as one.

It reflects your site on the day we reviewed it. Your site, your competitors and Google all change, so the findings go out of date.

9. No guarantee of rankings or traffic

We find what stops Google finding, understanding or trusting your site. We do not promise any ranking, any amount of traffic or any increase in sales, whether or not you carry out the fixes. See the earnings disclaimer.

10. Fixes and follow-up

Carrying out the fixes is not included, and neither is a second review. If you want to talk the findings through with us, the one-hour call covers it.

11. Use of the assessment

The assessment is yours to use for your own business, and to share with the people who work on your site. You may not resell it or publish it as your own work.

12. Withdrawal, refunds and questions

For this service, we start when we begin reviewing your site. We tell you by email when we do.

It is delivered when we email you the written assessment.

As a consumer you can withdraw within fourteen days of buying. Before we start, you get everything back. After we start, you pay for the part already done and we refund the rest.

Once the service is delivered you can no longer withdraw, because you asked us at checkout to start straight away. The full rules are in the general terms for paid services, and you can withdraw on our withdrawal page.
