1. Purpose of this policy

This cookie policy ("Policy") is adopted pursuant to Article 22(2) of Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce ("LSSICE"), and describes the cookies and similar technologies used on the website located at https://www.builtwithskills.com (the "Website"), operated by Heidi Hein, a self-employed individual (autónoma) registered in Spain, trading as Built With Skills. It should be read together with our privacy policy.

2. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small data file stored on your device when you visit a website, which allows that website, or a third party, to recognise your browser on subsequent visits. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in the same way and are covered by this Policy too.

3. Cookies set on this Website

None. The Website does not currently set any cookie or store anything on your device, so there is no cookie banner. If we add analytics, it will load only after you accept it on a banner that offers Reject just as clearly, and this Policy will be updated first.

4. Third-party platforms

Some functions of the Website hand you over to a third-party platform, which then sets its own cookies under its own cookie policy:

• Circle, at https://builtwithskills.circle.so, sets cookies once you register or sign in, in order to keep you signed in to the Community.
• Stripe sets cookies on its own checkout pages, for payment and fraud prevention, when you click Buy now.
• YouTube or Vimeo set cookies only once you press play on an embedded video. YouTube videos play from its privacy-enhanced domain. Before that, only the preview image is loaded from YouTube's image server, which sets no cookie.

5. Legal basis and consent

No cookie that would require your consent is set on the Website.

6. Changing your choice and disabling cookies

• Browser configuration. Every major browser lets you block, delete or restrict cookies through its own settings. Blocking Circle's cookies will stop you staying signed in to the Community.
• Private browsing. Cookies set during a private or incognito session are deleted when that session ends.

7. Amendments to this Policy

If we introduce a cookie not described here, this Policy will be updated before it is set, and the revision date at the top of this page changed.
