Press release: what you get
Last updated 19 October 2026
1. The service
You write the press release. We review it and tell you what to change, then send it to news sites through ABNewswire. We do not write it for you, and a press release is not an SEO service.
Price: €30 one-off, incl. VAT. Prices include Spanish VAT.
This page is part of the contract for this service. It should be read with the general terms for paid services, our terms of serviceand our earnings disclaimer. The service page shows the same service in plain words, with the questions people ask before buying.
2. What you get
- A review of the press release you write, with advice on what to change
- Distribution through ABNewswire to its network of 350+ news sites
- Guaranteed full publication on at least 100 of them
- A report within 72 hours, linking every site that ran it
- The release to keep and reuse on your own site
3. What is not included
- Backlinks or an SEO boost. Google ignores links in press releases.
- A story written about you. The sites run your release as written.
Anything not listed under “What you get” is not part of the service. If you need it, ask us and we will tell you whether we can do it and what it would cost.
4. What we do
- We read the release you send and tell you what to tighten, correct or leave out. If you are unsure where to start, tell us what you want to announce and we will point you the right way.
- You make the changes and tell us when you are happy for it to go out. We do not send anything you have not approved.
- We submit the release to ABNewswire for distribution to its network of news sites.
- When ABNewswire reports back, we send you its report, which links every site that ran your release.
5. What we need from you
- The press release you have written, and your business name, website address and contact details as you want them to appear.
- Any images or quotes you want to include, and confirmation that you are allowed to use them.
- Your approval of the final text before we send it.
If you do not give us what we need, we may not be able to deliver the service as described, and the timing moves with it.
6. Delivery
- We aim to review your draft quickly after we accept your order and we confirm by email when we expect to send it.
- ABNewswire reports back within 72 hours of the release being sent. We pass the report on as soon as we receive it.
7. What goes out is what you approved
The sites publish your release as written. We give advice, but the content, and every statement in it, is yours and you are responsible for it.
You confirm that the release is true and not misleading, that it does not break any law or any third party’s rights (including copyright, trademark, privacy and defamation), and that you have permission for everything in it, including quotes, images and the names of other people or businesses.
You give us, ABNewswire and the sites that publish it permission to copy, distribute and publish the release. If you are buying for a business, you will cover us for any claim that arises from the content of your release.
8. Content we or ABNewswire may refuse
ABNewswire applies its own editorial guidelines and may not accept certain subjects or claims. We may also decline a release that is unlawful, misleading or harmful.
If we cannot send your release, we tell you why and refund the price in full. We will not charge you for a release we refuse.
9. The 100-site guarantee
ABNewswire guarantees that your release is published in full on at least 100 sites in its network. The sites belong to other people and we do not control them.
If the report shows fewer than 100 sites, tell us within 14 days of receiving it. We will take it up with ABNewswire and, if they do not put it right, we will refund the price of the press release.
10. Once it is sent, it is public
We cannot recall, edit or remove a release once it has been distributed. The sites are independent and may keep it online.
Anything you put in it, including names, phone numbers and email addresses, becomes public and may be indexed by search engines and kept by third parties. Only include what you are happy to have published.
Because the service is complete once the release has been sent, a consumer who has asked us to start gives up the right of withdrawal at that point (see the general terms).
11. What a press release will not do
It will not get you backlinks or an SEO boost. Google ignores links in press releases. It will not bring you a journalist or a news story, and we do not promise visitors, sales or coverage beyond the publication described above.
12. Withdrawal, refunds and questions
For this service, we start when we begin reviewing your draft.
It is delivered when the release you approved has been sent to ABNewswire for distribution.
As a consumer you can withdraw within fourteen days of buying. Before we start, you get everything back. After we start, you pay for the part already done and we refund the rest.
Once the service is delivered you can no longer withdraw, because you asked us at checkout to start straight away. The full rules are in the general terms for paid services, and you can withdraw on our withdrawal page.
